Our children have learnt about the importance of and meaning behind Remembrance Day this week. They all created their own poppies which were added together to make a giant wreath and children across the school wrote poetry and researched their own family history in relation to both World Wars. We welcomed lots of families to our Remembrance Cafe on Friday afternoon and children were lucky to listen to memories of the war from family members and war veterans.
